After starting the MCS software simply power on your Spectran device and click the Start Sweep button. If there is more than once device connected to your system you can use the connection manager (via the Device Manager menu entry) to connect and disconnect each device separately. When you want to disconnect the Spectran simply use the Disconnect menu entry.
